  • Swim plugs: prevent swimmer’s ear and the risk of damaging your eardrum with these 100% watertight earplugs, suitable for hobbyists and professionals alike.

  • Noise cancellation plugs: enjoy total silence with these noise cancellation earplugs that let you block out all auditory distractions.

  • Noise awareness plugs: reduced sound attenuation to a level that works for you, allowing you to remain aware of the noises around you, but at a much lower and more comfortable level.

From there, the process is quite simple:

Preparation

Impression

A cotton or foam dam is placed in your ear canal to protect your eardrum. With the drum protected, liquid silicon is injected into the canal, where it is left to harden until it can be safely removed, along with the dam. This typically takes about 15 minutes from start to finish.

Production

This impression of your ear canal forms the foundation of your new ear plugs. Your audiologist will make whatever adjustments are necessary to accommodate a hearing aid, IEM, sound attenuation filter, or any other specialist components into the devices.

It’s important that your ear canal is completely clear of any obstruction before we can take an impression for your new ear protection device. Prior to your appointment, the audiologist will look into your ear with an ENT microscope. If they spot any earwax, they will remove it with a microsuction device before taking an impression.
